Full-Time Laborer & Water/Wastewater Plant Operator

The Town of Black Brook is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Laborer & Water/Wastewater Plant Operator. This is a great opportunity to join our dedicated team and contribute to the vital services that keep our town running smoothly.

Position Responsibilities: (full job description posted in the tab below)

Assist with general labor and maintenance tasks throughout the town.

Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment facilities in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Perform routine inspections, monitor equipment, and record operational data.

Respond to emergencies and service calls as needed.

Ensure public health and environmental safety standards are met.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid NYS Driver’s License

Ability to obtain necessary water/wastewater operator certifications (training will be provided)

Experience in public works, construction, or utilities a plus

Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions!
